A huge and heartfelt THANK YOU to the Chartway Promise Foundation for sponsoring one of our biggest events of the year—our 7th Annual Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway! Because of their unwavering support, we were able to serve over 500 children with backpacks, school supplies, and sensory-friendly items that set them up for a strong and confident start to the school year. The day was filled with excitement as families enjoyed over 23 amazing vendors, our expanded Touch-a-Truck Day, music from our incredible DJ, and the helping hands of dedicated volunteers—including Chartway Promise’s own team who showed up with smiles, compassion, and energy. Their mission of giving hope and joy to children aligns beautifully with ours at Complete the Puzzle, and together we created a day full of smiles, gratitude, and unforgettable memories.
Since we first started Complete the Puzzle, our programs have grown in ways we could only dream of—from serving just over 50 participants in the early days to now reaching more than 500 children and families each year. This growth is a true reflection of the trust our parents and caregivers place in us and in community partners like Chartway Promise Foundation who believe in inclusive, joyful spaces for all children. We are deeply grateful to every family who continues to show up, register, share our events, and allow us to be a part of their journey. Your support keeps us motivated, grounded, and committed to building programs that make a real difference.
We are equally grateful for their support of our year-round Creative Arts Studio program, which they fully funded and helped turn into a vibrant, welcoming space where our children could explore creativity, build confidence, and shine bright. The smiles from our parents, the thank-yous we continue to receive, and the pure joy we witnessed each week were made possible because Chartway Promise chose to stand with us. Moving forward, we know that with partners like the Chartway Promise Foundation—especially under the compassionate leadership of President, Christine Wilson, whom we truly adore—we will always have strong champions in our corner. Together, we will continue making magic happen for families in the autism community, one child, one program, and one joyful moment at a time.
